Summer Vacation 2011

 It was another exciting trip to Marco Island with the family! 

We had a fantastic week! You know it is good....when everyone has a great time!

 We had family and friends join us for some fun in the sun too!

 Marco Island in the last few years has become our home away from home

....and we truly enjoy the simple Island Life! 

Here are a few highlights from our relaxing trip!

The Beach and the Ocean was so great!

We spent a lot of time playing and relaxing on the Beach!

We took Brooks for a fun Jet Ski Ride!

Mike and Brooks flew a Kite in the afternoon.

Brooks loved it!

Everyday the Island had such a great Breeze.

It was Delightful!

Brody had a blast with all the fun Pool Games!

We couldn't get Brody out of the Pool.

It was so much fun!

We feel so blessed to have had such a great Vacation

and time with our Family! The boys are growing up so fast!

It truly is a lot of fun to travel with the boys for a 

Great Summer Vacation!

Summer of Bugs

 Just in case going to "Bug Camp" at Keystone Christian

 was not enough....we have started a few "Bug" Projects of our own this Summer!

 Yes, the boys LOVE BUGS! 

It is really all about the Bugs.

 We go to the Library every Thursday and check out books on you guessed it BUGS! 

Brooks can tell you all about Bugs....and well Brody he will certainly try!

 We just had to start doing some Bug fun of our own.

 We started with the Butterfly Project...

"Live Butterfly Garden"

This was such a fun Project with my Boys!

It was Easy and Fun to watch everyday!

We were sad to say goodbye to our new 

Butterfly Friends. 

We are looking forward to our Ant Farm Project and 

Our Venus Fly Trap Growing!

I highly recommend these fun Insect Projects!

Go Rays!

 It was an exciting night at the Ray's Game for the Pepin Family.

 It was such a great family activity in air condition in July!

The Boys were all about cheering on the Rays!

We all had so much fun together!

We plan to go to another game before the end of the Season!

UCF

 A walk down "Memory Lane" for Mike and I this week. 

We had a great time going to Orlando!

 We stayed at the Swanky Grand Bohemian Hotel downtown Orlando

 and went to Wine Down Wednesday! All the fun bars and restaurants that we use to go to as young college kids...oh yes, we went again! We had a great time! 

One of the highlights of our "Walk" was our trip to UCF! WOW! The Campus looks amazing! 

The Tri-Delta House looked amazing....not so sure about the old SAE or Sig EP House....but....it was fantastic reminising about all our first dates and all of our Friends! 

The College Days were oh so fun! 

We are so thankful for all those good times!

 Life is such a great journey! 

It is hard to believe that was over 10 years ago! 

We get excited to think that one day we will be cheering on our boys as they go to College!

A little bit of Texas in Florida

 We just had a great visit from our friend Amy. 

Amy traveled all the way from Austin, Texas to spend some great time with us. 

It was a fun weekend filled with a lot of smiles and laughs. 

We really appreciated her traveling so far to visit. 

Good friends come around once in a lifetime!

We miss you Amy!

We look forward to our next visit!

Summer Gathering

 Summer Entertaining is fun fun fun for me! 

I had a fun Dinner Party recently and tried a new Dessert that was such a hit!

 This is a must try.....perfect for a  4th of July BBQ! 

It is light and fluffy and full of yum!

My Summer Dinner Party was Fresh and Full of Bright

Vibrant Orange and Red. The Seashells were my accent on the Table

in Oversized Glass Jars. I was very excited with the outcome. 

I tied each napkin with Jute Rope and a Seashell. 

The Table looked Great!

It is all about the DESSERT!

This Dessert was the Hit of the Night!

This is a must try for a Summer Gathering!

It tastes as good as it looks!
