Getting Organized

 As a new year begins so does the 

organization  projects of our home. 

The process of Cleaning, Organizing, and Purging

 of the Closets and Cabinets is in full swing at our home. 

I absolutely love to clean and organize.

 Thanks to my fun Pinning on

Pinterest....the Organization Board is full of Ideas. 

1st Project up is my Pantry.

As the Holidays approached 

and the end of the year came to a close....

the Pantry became a disaster!

 We all shoved things into this closet that didn't even belong! 

Don't judge me for my Cluster of a Pantry....but here are a few 

pictures of my project!

Yes, this was definitely a major Cluster!

No order and no organization!

Yikes!

Ahh the Organization is back!

I got rid of Expired Food and

Put some Order back into our Pantry!

I love these Plastic Containers for Food.

You can buy them at Bed Bath and Beyond

or Crate and Barrel. They are great

for organizing your Pantry and keeping food fresh!

Yes, I now officially labeled everything in my Pantry!

It is so great!

Baskets and Containers are my friends

for organizing my Pantry! 

It is easy for the kids to reach their snacks and keeps it all organized!

My Pantry doesn't look like Better Home and Gardens...

however it is so clean, organized, and functional for our family!

I love organization!

Gasparilla Parade 2012

 The Pirates invaded Tampa Bay 

this past weekend at the 

Annual Children's Gasparilla Parade!

The excitement was HUGE!

The boys were ARRRGGGG all fired UP!

This is an Annual event for the Pepin's

and we did it up this year!

We have no time after the holidays for

any sad gloom! In Tampa we are 

anxiously awaiting the Pirates to invade and

with 2 boys we are all about the Pirates!

We had a lot of friends and family join us

this year on Bayshore in South Tampa

for the Parade. We had a Pre-Party Picnic with all 

sorts of great food and drinks!

Pirate, Beads, and Swords need I say more!

Mike was all decked out in Pirate Gear for the

 Festivities with some of his good friends Ennis and Edwards!

Ok, so here I am with Brody on the Parade Route

...Brody not sure what face he was making in true Brody 

fashion...and well, I am looking a bit tired at the end of the

day...I ran 11 miles early that morning!

The Tampa Bay Gasparilla Parade was

a lot of fun! We love being a part

of the Tampa Culture of this Annual Event. 

It was really special to have a lot of friends and 

family to spend time together at this great event!

Thanks to all for making it a fantastic Event!

As my mom says, who doesn't like a Parade! 

In New Orleans there is a Parade for everything!

Family Pictures

A few weeks ago we took 

the ever so popular "Family Pictures."

We had a blast doing them too!

We went to this great location South of St. Petersburg

in a little Harbor with water and beautiful trees.

We took almost 200 pictures...so needless 

to say it was exhausting too!

The pictures of my boys are just priceless!

I know I will look at these pictures for years to come!

Special Cards

As all the Glitz and Glamor of 

the Holidays come down

I had to share one of my most

favorite and most special Pieces.

This is my Holiday Card Picture!

It is full of the most special Christmas Cards and 

New Years Cards of all the years!

The Pepin Family was established in 2000

and we have been sending out Cards 

every year!  It is so fun to go 

down memory "Pepin Layne" 

and remember all the good times! 

A few years agoI decided to display

 all of our Cards with our Christmas Decorations.

It was hard trying to figure out the best

way to do that....but I think this looks great!

It is a Vintage Rustic Frame with Wire and Clips.

All the Cards are just simply clipped on

the wire and displayed in chronological order.

I have to thank all my friends and family

for sending such beautiful cards

year after year. They mean so much to us!

The boys even run to the mailbox everyday to check for cards!

We enjoy our family's card and yours!
