A Child's Ten Commandments to Parents

 I read this on a Blog through 

my hopping around Blogs one morning and just loved it!

I am inspired and want to be the best mom and let's face it

we can all use some inspiration through motherhood!!!

1. My hands are small; please don’t expect perfection whenever I make a bed, draw a picture, or throw a ball. My legs are short; please slow down so that I can keep up with you.

2. My eyes have not seen the world as yours have; please let me explore safely: don’t restrict me unnecessarily.

3. Housework will always be there. I’m only little such a short time—please take time to explain things to me about this wonderful world, and do so willingly.

4. My feelings are tender; please be sensitive to my needs; don’t nag me all day long. (You wouldn’t want to be nagged for your inquisitiveness.) Treat me as you would like to be treated.

5. I am a special gift from God; please treasure me as God intended you to do, holding me accountable for my actions, giving me guidelines to live by, and disciplining me in a loving manner.

6. I need your encouragement, but not your praise, to grow. Please go easy on the criticism; remember you can criticize the things I do without criticizing me.

7. Please give me the freedom to make decisions concerning myself. Permit me to fail, so that I can learn from my mistakes. Then someday I’ll be prepared to make the kind of decisions life requires of me.

8. Please don’t do things over for me. Somehow that makes me feel that my efforts didn’t quite measure up to your expectations. I know it’s hard, but please don’t try to compare me with my brother or my sister.

9. Please don’t be afraid to leave for a weekend together.  Kids need vacations from parents, just as parents need vacations from kids. Besides, it’s a great way to show us kids that your marriage is very special.

10. Please take me to Sunday school and church regularly, setting a good example for me to follow. I enjoy learning more about God.

 Just love a Valentine!

It's funny how after all these 

years of Mike and I celebrating the day

Fabulous February Day

 Just a simple day at the beach with my boys!

What a Fabulous February Day at the Beach!

As most of our country is very chilly

we hit the beach with some friends for a glorious day!!!

 My little guys are Super Hero's!

I tell them all the time they are my Super Hero's!

And well this week....Brooks was Super Man

and Brody was Batman.....at the Zoo!!

Flag Football

 Brooks' New Love of Sports is Flag Football!

What a fun sport and and exciting time for our family!

Brooks has been all about watching College or NFL 

Football for the last year or so. He started 

playing Football in the yard a couple of years ago....

but this was his big debut of being on his first team!

So fun, and so cute...he loves it! He is so excited about his Football Season!!

The Team all huddled up planning the plays!!

This Season we are Cheering #19 but in 2013!!!

Lego Land

 What a great family day we had at Lego Land!

Thanks to Meme and Sonny the boys 

found one of their most favorite parks!

I am now officially a huge Lego Fan!

Super Cool Legos ....I am inspired to build all the fun Legos!!

Here are some of the highlights:

I was really impressed the Park was cool...

and clean, and not crowded! 

The Lego Pizza Man was adorable!

The Boys were excited and ready for some pizza!!

were unbelievable ...the boys were so fired up!!

The Lego Cities were so amazing!

This is Miami Beach in Lego's in honor of Sonny's Hotel!!

The boys loved all the Characters in Lego's!

The Park was fantastic....just perfect for the boys age!

They went on almost every ride multiple times!

Brooks is officially a Roller Coaster Man now!!!
