Easter

It was so nice having Easter at the end of April this year.
It seems as if we were celebrating Easter for weeks.
We had one Easter Egg hunt after another!
 We celebrated .....we decorated!
It was a fun family filled Spring Holiday!
We feel so blessed to have our family and friends so close to celebrate these special times!

This was one of the 1st Easter Egg Hunts of the Season in our Neighborhood.

Brody was very proud of all his Easter Eggs!

Brooks on the other hand....wanted to hit another Easter Egg Hunt!

On the Egg Hunt with Dad!

Most importantly....what is in these Easter Eggs!

Dying and Decorating Easter Eggs was a BIG EVENT!
All sorts of fun....we made a great Egg Salad!
Yummy!

Easter Sunday Egg Hunt at Grandpa's and Nana's House.
Brooks, Brody, and Rocco were the star players!
Uncle Chris was all smiles with the boys!

We are so appreciative of God's Blessings on our family!
Maybe next year we can get a nice family photo in our church clothes!!

The Mother's Tea

What a special day Brooks and I had at Rainbow Garden Pre School!
 It was the "Mother's Tea"!
It was adorable....thats what it was.
These little 4 and 5 Year olds melt my heart...especially my little Brooks!
They put together quite a cute little event for all the moms!
They made cute little Signs, Pictures, and even Bracelets.
When I arrived to the event he gave me a little flower.....oh how I can't believe he is 5 already!
The Class of 2011 sang the cutest little songs all about Moms and how they love their moms!
Just precious.

At my seat was a Picture Brooks made of me!!

The Table looked so cute with Tea Sandwiches, Fruit, Cupcakes, and of course Goldfish!

Brooks had to do a Fact Sheet about his mom....oh this was hilarious!
Apparently I am 50 years old (Real Ego Boost!)
I eat Fruit and Vegetables! If I had $100 I would buy Make-up!
Good Stuff!

The Big Performance!

The Cupcake was the Best! Of course!

We had so much fun together!

It is all about the Cupcake!

The boys have such a busy social schedule at 5 years old and 2 1/2 years old...I can only imagine how busy it will get as these cutie pies get even older!!!
We had 2 Birthday Parties this past weekend with some good friends...
..and of course it is "All About the Cupcakes!"
I love the simplicity of childhood!
Take a yummy bite of this Cupcake!

Just a Neighborhood Pet

It is always exciting at the Pepin House!
As was the other day when the boys were playing in the backyard
and saw our friendly neighborhood Alligator!
Yep...he was just getting a tan on the bank of our pond!
Brooks, Brody, and even Colby....was enamored by this enormous beast!
He was HUGE!
Let's just hope he is doing his job and eating all the snakes...or he is outta there!!!
Thank goodness for our fence!!!

Full Bloom

I love the Spring in Florida!
 The weather is fantastic!
People are out enjoying their family!
The boys are outside for hours!
The flowers and trees are in Bloom....it is very inspiring!
The colors outdoors are so vibrant.
Wishing you some Spring Inspiration!

I love anything monogramed...especially a Spring Garden Flag!

I planted some Impatiens in White, Pink, and Coral!
It looks great...the yard is Happy!
I'm excited to see them grow big under our big Palm Tree!

Oreo Balls

After our Annual Christmas Wine and Dessert Party
last year...the topic of conversation I had with most friends was "Oreo Balls"!
Yes, simple...but divine!
This little Dessert is quite a crowd pleaser!
It was by far the most popular dessert at our party!
I had Oreo Balls for the first time at a Halloween Party....and became a huge fan!
The Oreo Balls can be decorated with Sprinkles or any color of Chocolate for any type of celebration!
I just had to share...this yummy dessert!

I love a good Dessert!

Ingredients:
1 Package of Regular Size Oreo Cookies Crushed
1 Package of 8oz Cream Cheese Softened
1 Package of White Almond Bark
1 Package of Chocolate Almond Bark

Mix Oreos and Cream Cheese together
Roll into a walnut size balls
Chill for an hour
Melt approximately 3/4 package of white almond bark
Stick a toothpick in an Oreo Ball and Dip it in the Melted Bark
Allow to harden on Wax Paper
Takes about 15 minutes
Try another Bark
When Oreo Balls are no longer sticky to the touch, decorate with Sprinkles or Drizzles of Chocolate
Use a Sandwich Bag with a Tiny Hole cut in one corner to drizzle the Almond Bark

Enjoy!

Just like Dad

Brooks just started his new Spring Sport...Tennis!
Just like Dad....he loves it! It is so exciting to see him fall in love with a sport of his own.
It is a great activity for him to do one day a week after school with his friends.
Brooks is ready for a match with his Dad!
I guess....I need to step it up and start some Tennis of my own to keep up with these boys!

Spring is Here

We had a fantastic little vacation to Long Boat Key in Sarasota!
We spent some quality fun time at the Pool and the Beach!
The Weather is Beautiful....welcome the Spring!
The Boys collected Seashells and even made new friends from Kansas City!
We sat on the Beach and listened to Music... the Boys built Sand Castles and Danced!
It was Super Fun....and well needed!
Here are a few pictures!
